In August 2023, the founder of The Medulloblastoma Initiative was honored with the 24th Guri Trophy, a major award created by Grupo RBS, a broadcasting conglomerate in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Fernando Goldsztein was one of nine individuals so honored, including businessmen, artists, entrepreneurs, and communicators who were deemed outstanding in their fields and contributed to spreading “the brand of Rio Grande do Sul” outside the state.
