MBI at the largest scientific event in neuro-oncology in Latin America

Last saturday (23), MBI founder Fernando Goldsztein participated in the Present-Future session of Snola 2024, the largest scientific event in neuro-oncology in Latin America. He shared the session focusing on brain cancer in pediatric oncology with physicians and researchers from Brazil, the US, and Canada. MBI's participation in this important scientific event recognizes the innovative research support model that the initiative has been developing.

In the session, Goldsztein presented MBI and the advances of the Cure Group 4 Consortium, which is supported by MBI and brings together top experts and laboratories from the US, Canada, and Germany. A major achievement to addressed during the event is the submission — in less than three years — of two protocols for innovative treatment trials to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Additional topics that have been covered included the urgent need of resources for research in this area, in addition to the limitations of current treatments.
