MBI on CNN

The Medulloblastoma Initiative (MBI) was featured on the CNN Brasil website, in a report that highlights the impact of our innovative model for accelerating science.

In just 30 months, we have raised more than $11 million, established partnerships with 16 leading institutions in the United States, Canada, and Germany, and accelerated discoveries that previously took more than a decade to reach patients. The model, recognized by MIT, is now seen as a global reference in collaborative funding for rare diseases.

Among the advances underway are the first clinical trial with FDA-approved immunotherapy, which stimulates the body’s own immune response against tumor cells, and the development of an mRNA-based vaccine, with global distribution potential.
