On June 2, 2023, MBI founder Fernando Goldsztein spoke at an entrepreneurs’ summit hosted by MIT, the MBA program where Fernando studied. MBI’s story had been selected as one of the top 10 cases presented by MIT Sloan alumni in 2022, which led to an invitation to present at the Ideas Made to Matter session at the 2023 MIT Sloan alumni summit.

Fernando spoke about MBI’s mission and shared a message: “It’s not a question of if, but when we will find a cure for this disease — and then I will focus on the next one and the next one. So for pediatric brain cancer, that will be my life’s goal. And I would like to leave a message here: life is not just about accumulating material goods. We all have to do good… We all have to do something to help other people.”
