Packer, do Children\u2019s National Hospital em Washington D.C., um dos principais especialistas mundiais em tumores cerebrais pedi\u00e1tricos em todo o mundo. Hoje, a MBI \u00e9 uma iniciativa filantr\u00f3pica que financia um cons\u00f3rcio com 13 laborat\u00f3rios de pesquisa, reunindo cientistas renomados de todo o mundo \u2014 dos EUA, Alemanha e Canad\u00e1.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f153b3a e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f153b3a\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0d10510 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0d10510\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Para este importante encontro, a MBI foi a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o escolhida pela OEA para representar a luta dos 300 milh\u00f5es de pessoas afetadas por doen\u00e7as raras em todo o mundo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54008ed e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"54008ed\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4c65103 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4c65103\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Durante o seu discurso, Fernando apresentou a abordagem \u00fanica da MBI ao envolvimento filantr\u00f3pico e discutiu sobre temas urgentes, como a toxicidade dos tratamentos dispon\u00edveis para o tipo mais comum de tumor cerebral pedi\u00e1trico e a necessidade de financiamento para investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica. Convidou tamb\u00e9m os governos, a comunidade cient\u00edfica e a pr\u00f3pria sociedade civil a refletirem sobre a relev\u00e2ncia destes temas no contexto das doen\u00e7as
