\u201cUm pai recebe a not\u00edcia de que o filho de nove anos tem um tumor cerebral e, diante de um progn\u00f3stico ruim, cria uma rede internacional em busca de fundos para o financiamento de pesquisas que busquem a cura da doen\u00e7a. Ele pr\u00f3prio faz uma doa\u00e7\u00e3o inicial de US$ 3 milh\u00f5es (R$ 14,7 milh\u00f5es).<\/p>

O protagonista desta hist\u00f3ria \u00e9 o empres\u00e1rio ga\u00facho Fernando Goldsztein, 56, um dos s\u00f3cios da construtora Cyrela. H\u00e1 oito anos, o filho Frederico, hoje com 16 anos, foi diagnosticado com meduloblastoma, a forma mais comum de c\u00e2ncer cerebral a afetar crian\u00e7as e adolescentes, presente em cerca de 20% desses casos.
